Cream of Broccoli with cheese and turnip soup

4 to 6 C stock
turnips
broccoli
salt
pepper
thyme
1 C cheese
1/2 C heavy cream

Cook turnips until almost tender, add broccoli and when soft, puree the mixture. Add seasonings to taste, reheat on low heat, add cheese and cream.
